Lewis D'Vorkin is Vice President and Editor in Chief of news and sports programming at America Online, Inc. He is responsible for defining and developing AOL's interactive news programming strategy and implementation, as well as the extensive sports coverage on the AOL service. Prior to his role in news and sports, D'Vorkin served as Vice President of Content Strategy at America Online, where he directed the programming of the AOL Welcome Screen. D'Vorkin came to AOL from Forbes, where he served as Executive Editor and was responsible for cover stories, the Forbes 400 Richest Americans issue, and overall content presentation. He also created the Forbes "Celebrity 100 Power" issue. D'Vorkin has held senior positions at several leading news media organizations. D'Vorkin was the Page One Editor for The Wall Street Journal. In addition, his prior experience includes senior editor positions at The New York Times and Newsweek. He was also co-founder of an Internet start-up magazine, and he served as Editorial Director for Ziff Davis Publishing, leading the redesign of several of the company's computer magazines.
