Bill Morningstar was promoted to Executive Vice President, Media Sales of The WB Television Network in March 2001. Morningstar, who has been at The WB since 1994, before it officially launched. Morningstar reports to Garth Ancier, Chairman of The WB.

Morningstar manages the network’s sales staff of more than 30 employees, who work out of offices in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. He is based in New York and works with advertising agencies, media buying services and their clients. He is responsible for all network advertising revenues for The WB primetime. Mr. Morningstar also works closely with the sales staff of the Cartoon Network on the sales of Kids’ WB! inventory.

Mr. Morningstar was former President and Chief Operating Officer Jed Petrick’s first hire at The WB. Prior to joining The WB in 1994, Mr. Morningstar was a Vice President in the network group at Grey Advertising.

Mr. Morningstar, who lives in Rye, New York in Westchester County with his wife Sally and three children is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
