Sam has become a national celebrity as a result of his well publicized role on the hit television show, The Apprentice. Selected from 215,000 candidates, Sam quickly made a name for himself as the eccentric who tried to sell a glass of lemonade for $1000, stared down The Donald in the boardroom, and then later offered him a briefcase full of $250,000 in cash. A successful entrepreneur, in 1999 Sam and a business partner launched an Internet media company called Potomac Tech Wire that now boasts eight publications with 80,000 subscribers in the U.S. and Europe. He has also found success in real estate, buying, renovating, and selling luxury condominiums in the Washington metropolitan area. Sam has recently stepped away from traditional business to return to the auctioneering circuit where he performs and raises money for charities, corporations, and other organizations that benefit from a trained auctioneer. As a result of his professional accomplishments and his larger-than-life presence on The Apprentice, Sam has been a guest on numerous television programs including the Tonight Show, Oprah, and Today, and featured in national magazines such as People, US Weekly, Entrepreneur, and TV Guide.
