James Shears is the General Manager of Advanced TV for The Trade Desk. In his role, James leads the company’s partnership efforts around the TV space. He works to champion this nascent industry and to educate buyers on the benefit of programmatic TV.
Prior to joining The Trade Desk, James was the General Manager of Addressable and Programmatic for DISH Media Sales. To scale the addressable product, James launched the TV industry’s first impression by impression supply side platform. Before DISH, James spent ten years in pricing and strategy roles at networks including Scripps and TV Guide Network.
