Biography

Mr. Kevin A. Mayer serves as a Director of Twenty-First Century Fox, Inc. since March 20, 2019. Mr. Mayer has been the Chairman of Direct-to-Consumer and International at Walt Disney Company since March 14, 2018, and was its Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Executive Vice President since June 30, 2015 until 2018. Mr. Mayer serves as an Advisor of Theorem Capital, LLC. He served as an Executive Vice President of New Corporate Strategy, Business Development & Technology Group at Walt Disney Company since June 2005. During his tenure, Mayer has overseen Disney’s key strategic acquisitions including Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and BAMTECH. In 2005, Mayer created a team focused on growth opportunities by targeting emerging businesses and evaluating new technology and business models.

Mr. Mayer oversees a global, multiplatform media, technology and distribution organization for high-quality content created by Disney’s Studio Entertainment and Media Networks groups. His portfolio includes Disney’s international media operations and the Company’s direct-toconsumer businesses globally, including the upcoming Disney-branded direct-to-consumer streaming service. With a focus on maximizing Disney’s opportunities in international media markets, he oversees its International Channels, including the international Disney Channels, which are renowned for providing incomparable branded entertainment that is both universally appealing and locally relevant.

Mr. Mayer holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University in 1990 an MSEE from San Diego State University and a B.S.M.E. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
